Advertiser Guide

A visual brochure of current listing, premium banner, and rotating banner options.

Use this page like a brochure. It shows what each listing type, premium banner slot, and shared rotating banner option is designed to do.

Premium banner slots are exclusive. When a premium slot is already taken, the shared rotating slot directly below it can still be available as an alternate option.

Empty public banner slots can still show house-promotional pricing and calls to action. Once a real advertiser occupies a slot, the live banner stops acting like a ToFindAI sales card and instead links out to the advertiser.

Desktop and mobile banner uploads are active and enforced by slot family. Homepage premium and below-homepage slots use their configured desktop and mobile sizes. Main Directory, Main Category, Sub Category, and Search slots use their configured desktop and mobile sizes.

Basic Listing

Entry point for the directory
  • Title
  • Website URL
  • Short description
  • Category placement

A clean way to get into the directory without taking over the page. Best when you want lean visibility and fast approval flow.

Available on: /submit.php

Advanced Listing

More complete directory row
  • Everything in the 80-character listing
  • 160 or 320 character description options
  • Optional street address, unit, city, province/state, postal/ZIP, and country
  • Optional phone, support URL, and support email
  • Compact directory-row display

Best when you want more context in the directory row without creating a large separate detail page.

Available on: /submit.php

80 characters

Compact feed copy
  • Shortest listing summary
  • Fastest scan footprint
  • Good for concise positioning

Best when your headline and one sharp line do the job.

Available on: /submit.php

160 characters

Expanded feed copy
  • More room for a clearer promise
  • Still compact enough for category scanning

Useful when the buyer needs one or two extra cues before clicking.

Available on: /submit.php

320 characters

Largest listing summary
  • Most descriptive feed-level summary
  • More context before profile click

Best when your offer needs a little more explanation without becoming a page takeover.

Available on: /submit.php

Single Placement Sponsor Campaign

One slot, one focused visibility choice
  • Pick one placement
  • Upload creative
  • Headline, summary, URL, CTA fields
  • Monthly or annual term

Good when you know exactly where you want visibility first.

Available on: /sponsor.php

Multi Placement Sponsor Campaign

Broader coverage from one campaign
  • Choose multiple placements in one checkout
  • Per-slot headline, summary, CTA, URL, and creative
  • One campaign with grouped visibility

Best when you want several surfaces working together instead of a single isolated slot.

Available on: /sponsor-multi.php

Premium Exclusive Banner Slots

Primary banner inventory
  • One active sponsor per premium slot
  • Premium slots stay visible and show as sold when already taken
  • Good when you want the strongest placement on that page family

These are the main top, middle, and bottom banner positions across the homepage, Main Directory, Main Category, Sub Category, and Search families.

Available on: /sponsor.php and /sponsor-multi.php

Below Shared Rotating Banner Slots

Backup visibility directly below premium slots
  • Placed directly below the matching premium banner
  • Shared rotating inventory instead of exclusive ownership
  • Useful when the premium slot above is already sold or when you want a lower-priced alternate

Below slots follow the same page family as the premium slot above them, including the same current creative size family.

Available on: /sponsor.php and /sponsor-multi.php

Empty Slot vs Live Sponsor Display

How public banner cards behave
  • Empty slots can show a house promo card with pricing and an internal call to action
  • Once occupied, the live slot switches to advertiser content
  • Occupied slots stop acting like a ToFindAI sales flyer and click out to the advertiser instead

This keeps open inventory visible while making sure a paid sponsor’s banner is focused on their destination once the slot is live.

Available on: /sponsor.php and /sponsor-multi.php

Current Banner Creative Sizes

One universal desktop and mobile standard
  • All 30 public banner placements now use one shared desktop size: 1600 × 300
  • All 30 public banner placements now use one shared mobile size: 320 × 100
  • The same approved creative can move between homepage, main directory, main category, sub category, and search placements without forcing a new upload only because the page family changed.

This makes banner setup easier for advertisers and keeps replacements, plan changes, and page-family moves much simpler.
